While my first love will always be cleansing and alkalizing green juice, it’s fun to flirt with different colors and flavors every now and then. With the arrival of spring, this has been one of the most popular juices in my shop. It’s my pleasure to share the recipe with you exclusively here on GOURMET SUNDAYS.
Pineapple is a vitamin powerhouse! Not only is it loaded with Vitamin C, but a one cup serving also contains healthy amounts of B6, magnesium, folate and iron!! And in this juice, it brings just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the tart granny smith apple and lemon. A little kick of immune champion ginger, and a bright bold boost of anti-inflammatory super root, turmeric. 4 beta-carotene packed carrots complete this recipe, and will help you on your way to glowing skin, and reduce the risk of macular degeneration later in life when consumed regularly. Enjoy!!!”
4 small carrots
1 granny smith apple
1 cup pineapple
1-2 inches ginger
1 -2 inches fresh turmeric root
Run all of the ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!

Krista Zvanitajs is a passionate wellness enthusiast, and credits juice cleansing with dramatically changing her life, both physically and emotionally. After completing her raw food chef & detox certification in Bali with Elaina Love’s Pure Joy Culinary Academy, she returned to her native Canada and opened a juice shop and cleanse business.
